Tours of Tully Sugar Mill
From June to October
Visit the Tully Sugar Mill and learn about the growing, harvesting and processing of sugar cane into raw sugar, molasses and other by products. Daily tours of the Tully Sugar Mill will operate during the harvesting season starting in June.
Tours take approximately one and a half hours and run: Monday to Friday at 10.00am, 11.00am and 1.30pm; Saturday/Sunday at 11.00am and 1.30pm
Costs: Adults - $12; Children - $8; Family - $30 (2 adults & 2 children)
Please note children must be over 7 years of age.
For safety reasons tour participants must wear closed-in shoes (sneakers are fine) and a top with at least a short sleeve (no singlet type tops). A safety briefing is given prior to commencement of the tour.
Mill tours must be booked and paid for at the Tully Information Centre, Bruce Highway Tully, phone 4068 2288. Bookings are essential.
