Animals of the Property that visit us
Bandicoots
The Long-nosed Bandicoot (Parameles nasuta) are seen much more frequently in the evenings wandering through the undergrowth behind the property. These nocturnal, non-climbing mammals leave small conical holes in our lawns and gardens, but are cute to see and do no real damage.

These delightful little creatures are really caretakers for the gardens, turning the mulch over every night.
Agile Wallabies.
These delightful little creatures are often seen on the rear of the property grazing on the long grass shoots, or hopping through the long grass of the paddocks at the rear. Early morning and late evening they often graze on the front lawns and are becoming more accustomed to seeing humans around on their turf.
We also have a family of Curlews who have adopted us, and have them on a clutch of eggs at the moment. Here are some delightful shots of 'sticks'.
